Scoring

😭

Very Poor (-2400 to -1400)

Recognizing that your carbon footprint is a problem is the first step to improving your habits! If you fell into this category, you likely have not been conscious of how your actions impact the environment. One of the biggest ways to start reducing your carbon footprint is by starting with small changes you can make in your every day living. Taking shorter showers or buying sustainable products are some great ways to get started!

😢

Poor (-1400 to -500)

A score in this range demonstrates that you occassionally make conscious decisions to reduce your carbon footprint. You probably do your best to conserve energy and recycle or reuse products you don't need anymore. However, you may not be aware of the impacts of more significant day to day habits. One of the biggest carbon contributors is the carbon emissions from cars. Try looking into less harmful options like public transportation or, even better, walking or biking!

😐

Neutral (-500 to 400)

Congratulations! A score in the neutral range demonstrates that you actively take steps to reduce your carbon footprint. You are also more environmentally aware than the majority of your peers. Most people in this score range are aware of the biggest contributors to carbon emissions: non eco-friendly transportation and energy or power sources. One lesser known contributor is your diet, or the way that you eat! To improve your carbon footprint, try cutting down on meat, especially beef.

😊

Good (400 to 1000)

Wow, the Carbon Garden is impressed! You are very educated and aware about the implications of your day-to-day living. To reach the next tier, you'll need to keep up the good work and focus on the seemingly less signficant actions you make that increase your carboon footprint. This probably includes how you deal with your waste or further decreasing the meat content in your diet.

😎

Very Good (1000 to 2500)

You must be a carbon garden ninja! Thank you for making the world a more environmentally friendly place! We invite you to share your tips and spread awareness with your friends and family to pass along the message of reducing your carbon emissions.
